Massimo Schinco practices Psychology and Psychotherapy as a professional man. He is Senior Advisor and Teacher of Systemic Relational Psychotherapy for the Centro Studi Eteropoiesi (Turin, Italy). Furthermore, he teaches in the Department of Design of the Milan Politecnico, Italy. He has been appointed as Co-director together with Luigi Boscolo of the Milan Centre for Family Therapy in the years 2012 – 2014 and has been teaching for the Milton H. Erickson Institute of the Bay Area (USA) in the years 2018 – 2022.
Born in Milan (Italy) in 1956, took the high-school diploma in Classical Studies in 1975 and the Degree in Psychology at University of Padova in 1980. He completed an individual psychotherapy with Francesco Mina and then the four-years training to Systemic Family Therapy at the Milan Centre of Family Therapy directed by L. Boscolo e G. Cecchin. Then he completed the “basic course” at the School of Italian Centre of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis directed by Prof. F. Granone in 1991.
During the first years of activity he’s been working especially with territorial teams in the public agencies (créches, child and mother’s protection, social work, marriage and family consultories, drug addiction), in houses of corrections and rest home.
As an Author, he focuses on creative change and knowledge as re-invention (see the list of publications)
Presently he provides with supervision professionals of several organization in the field of psychotherapy, education and social work.
He’s a member of the European Family Therapy Association.

He is Co – Director of the School of Psychotherapy and Clinical Centre of the Milan Centre of Family Therapy, leads learning groups at the University of Pavia, Italy and teaches General and Development Psychology in the State Academy of Music (Conservatorio) G. F. Ghedini, Cuneo.

He has taught 15 years in the Professional School for Educators in Cuneo.

He plays violin in the Orchestra Sinfonica Amatoriale Italiana.
